GENERAL REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

Summer swim runs from May 27 - July 27.

Cost: $218 per Blaster (includes $3 PWSL Swimtopia fee, swimsuit, cap, team t-shirt, award ceremony, and daily practices following Memorial Day plus 2 additional practices in the evening once school is out);

$135 per Microblaster (includes team t-shirt, award ceremony, practice 2x a week after school is out, and Micro meet)

Iona Sound (Iona)--12300 Iona Sound Drive

Registration Dates:

Returning Blaster families and Braemar residents: March 9, 2025 at 8 pm until March 22, 2025

Open registration to all families: March 23, 2025 at 8 pm

Registration Closes: once all spaces have been filled or May 18, 2025--whichever comes first.

Swimmer Evaluations: If needed, please email [email protected] to coordinate a time.

NOTES: (1) A returning member is defined as an individual or family that swam the season prior to current registration. (2) A Braemar resident is defined as someone/family that resides in Braemar either as a homeowner, renter or landlord (meaning they own a home in Braemar, but live outside the community).

Registration Info:

When registering, please ensure you are registering your swimmer based on the age they will be at as of June 1, 2025. Registration will be by age group. Each age group has a pre-set capped amount. Once the capped amount has been reached for a particular age group, families can continue to register swimmers on the age group waitlist. Spots will then be filled according to our waitlist policy (see FAQs).

ALL payments can be made via check or credit card. If paying by credit card, there is a 3.4% + 30¢ per transaction. All checks MUST be postmarked within 7 business days after submitting the on-line registration. Please mail checks to: PO Box 638 Bristow, VA 20136--do not drop them off at the Iona Sound clubhouse–we are not affiliated with the HOA or Clubhouse.

Families who do not adhere to the above deadlines will be moved to the waitlist. Please see our waitlist policy in regard to how we fill available spots on the team.

Swimmers will not be approved and considered registered until payment has been received and processed. The team administrator will send welcome emails on Sundays after registration opens. The welcome email signifies that all registration requirements have been met and your swimmers have been accepted to participate on the Braemar Blasters.
